Rasoi Restaurant

LOVE it! My favorite Indian restaurant in/around Providence. They have a comfortable atmosphere and a great selection at a very affordable price. Lunch buffet is definitely worth trying if you're a first timer or unsure of what to order.

If you think you "don't like Indian food," try Rasoi. It will raise your expectations. My wife and I now eat here at least once a week. Though we have our menu favorites, we do try to branch out once in a while. So far, I have yet to try anything on the menu I didn't like. Our usual order consists of Samosas, Cauliflower 65, Paneer Saag (her), Chicken Kastoori Kabab (me). Lately, though, we've been exploring the menu a little further. I love everything they do with lentils. Likewise, the cauliflower dishes make my mouth water just thinking about them. Chicken, lamb, vegetables, you name it, Rasoi makes it delicious. Rasoi has an amazing number of vegetarian dishes that leave me thinking, "I could be a vegetarian if I ate here every night." The staff have always been very courteous to us, and clearly are getting used to our regular appearance - be it when I'm picking up take-out, our dining in with my wife. Now that I've been thinking about their food, I'm craving it.

I was craving a spicy kick last night and decided to try the Chili Chicken Entree which was simply out of this world! I just finished the rest for lunch and I daresay it was as good if not better. This is a must try dish!!!!!!
